How the Orange Grading Machine works
A feed hopper releases oranges onto a belt-and-roller bed that carries them past a grading section, separating small, medium, and large fruit into their own lanes before they reach the packing crates. The rust-resistant frame is built to run full shifts through peak citrus season without the belt sagging or the rollers seizing up.
Key features of the Orange Grading Machine.
Orange Grading Machine FAQs.
Does the grading process bruise or scratch the peel?
The belt and rollers are designed for soft contact, so peel condition holds up through the full grading pass.
Can it be used for other citrus, like mandarin or sweet lime?
Yes, with a roller-spacing adjustment for the different fruit size. The mechanism itself doesn't change.
How long can it run without stopping?
It's built for full-shift, full-season operation. The rust-resistant frame is specifically for that kind of continuous citrus-season use.
What kind of maintenance does it need during the season?
Mainly keeping the rollers clear of pulp buildup and checking belt tension every week or two, nothing that needs specialist attention.
Can you deliver an orange sorting machine outside Haryana, like to Nagpur or Madhya Pradesh?
Yes, we ship and install pan-India, including to the Nagpur and Madhya Pradesh orange belts, not just locally around Ambala.
