Overview

How it works

Freshly harvested produce almost always carries dust, leaves, and small stones along with it, and that debris does two things badly — it slows down grading and it wears out grading machinery faster than it should. A pre-cleaner solves both by stripping that material out first, so whatever reaches the grading line afterward is already clean enough to sort accurately.

FAQs

Common questions.

What exactly does it remove?

Dust, leaves, small stones, and other loose field debris that comes attached to freshly harvested produce.

Why not skip pre-cleaning and grade straight from the field?

Leftover debris both slows the grading line and wears grading machinery down faster — pre-cleaning is a small extra step that protects the bigger investment.

Does it work for both fruits and vegetables, or is it crop-specific?

It's built to handle a broad range — apples, onions, and most produce types run through the same setup.

Is it suitable for a small farm, or only large packing operations?

Both — it scales from a single small farm's seasonal harvest up to a packing house's daily intake.
